Kasey Cunningham is coming apart at the seams. She doesn’t know why she didn’t stick to writing her beach-read romances instead of writing a book about the tragedy that defined her life. But she did, and now it’s being made into a movie, and every day on set is sheer hell. Until Hollywood heartthrob Luc Becker accepts a major role in the film – and takes a special interest in her. He can keep her calm like no one else – but also excite her in ways that leave her breathless. And he just might be the one who’ll make her take the risk she’s always avoided, the one where she tells all her secrets and gives up her heart.

Luc Becker is sick to death of being known more for his six-pack and pretty smile than his brain and talent. His career hasn’t been at all what he dreamed it would be and he’s getting bitter, disillusioned, and burned out. He’s also lonely and starting to think he’ll never find someone who’ll look past his celebrity and into his heart. And then he meets Kasey, a freaked-out fish out of water who desperately needs a friend. She doesn’t give a damn about his muscles or his fame. She wants to know the real Luc – and he can’t help but show her everything he is. And then give her everything he has – in bed and out of it.

Throw in a vindictive producer who’s determined to humiliate Luc, ruin the film, and destroy Kasey’s sanity, and these two are in for a rough ride – in more ways than one. But it’ll be a fun ride, too. And it might just change their lives.
